What Psychology Is
Psychology is the scientific study of the mind, while philosophy is a combined study of reality, knowledge, thinking, morals, and essences. Analyzing philosophy almost always require one to follow rational inquiry, a set method to find truth. Also, philosophy has been a tradition for thousands of years in various cultures, while psychology was only a recent development in the west.In the long run, psychology can supplement philosophy, and vice-versa. Psychology can both clarify existing philosophical ideas, and correct unintentional errors in theories.
